Honda will release a new Africa Twin autumn

Japanese Honda Motor plans to release a new reincarnation of the once popular motorcycle Africa Twin models this fall.


The bike will be officially named Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin. Already published several of his official photographs. More, though, reminding teasers because the bike they are only partially visible.

We know that the bike has got rid of a V-twin-cylinder engine in favor of a parallel arrangement of cylinders. According to experts, this may not appeal to fans of the old XRV750, production of which ceased in 2003.

At the same time, despite the increase in engine, Honda was able to leave the bike in the former sizes. Motorcycle thus began to look more modern and on assurances of the creators, it feels great on the road and off-road.

Optionally, it will be installed branded "Honda's" system of double clutch Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT).

How much will be sold to the new bike and in which markets it will first and foremost, is still unknown.
