Sic Supermoto Day changes venue and format

This year Sic Supermoto Day will be held for the fourth time, but this time - not on track Saggitario Latina in the Italian region.

Sic Supermoto Day 2015 will take place on the track in Misano - the same one named after Marco Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

In Misano this will open a new track - Arena World Circuit - track will add 1,000 meters, he also won the official homologation from the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM).

Recall Marco Simoncelli was tragically killed in a racing accident at the stage of MotoGP in 2011 on October 23 in Malaysia at Sepang track.

In the memorable day will no longer be conducted in a class supermoto race, as it was before. Instead, she will race in the category Flat Track. That is, the riders will go on asphalt drifting on dirt track.

Note that Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez - the only participants in MotoGP, which are regularly engaged in flat track. Russia itself has in the corresponding track on his ranch in Tavullia, a few kilometers from Misano. He often invites to other riders on the amateur competition.

Also, such a path is in the estate of the American pilot Colin Edwards, who last year finished his career in MotoGP.

With regard to the date of the event, then it is precisely not known, the Italian press believes that Sic Supermoto Day 2015 will take place (perhaps under a new name because changing the format) in December this year.
