Silencer for Ducati Scrambler by Akrapovic

  The famous Slovenian manufacturer of aftermarket-Akrapovic silencers has released a new exhaust system for the recently started to conquer markets moto motorcycle Ducati Scrambler.

As noted in the Akrapovic, their novelty can "completely change the character of the bike" and "to release the monster living in it."

Externally, the Slovenian manufacturer retains the general features of the appearance of the cans, but a little to upgrade a number of characteristic design for yourself strokes.

The result is an exhaust that looks in many ways, and even in almost everything, like stock, but gives the bike a completely different operation.

The silencer is made of titanium and its conical shape is designed to resemble the final element of racing MotoGP. The end part is painted in matte black and bears the emblem of the Akrapovic - to leave no doubt.

Noise inserts made removable, so that the pilot can choose between more modest tonal characteristics for everyday city driving and aggressive tone - apparently for the track.

In addition to changing the sound of the engine, muffler from Akrapovic gives an increase of 2.3 horsepower to power the bike and 3.7 Nm of torque - with the 7200 and 4150 vol. / Min. respectively.

Also worth noting is that this significantly changes the weight of the muffler motorcycle - if the stock muffler "scrambler" weighs 6 kg, the "akrapovichevsky" - only 2.4 kg (!).

Together with a silencer is installation instructions (which is done quite simple, just owning a minimal technical skills. The Akrapovic say that the installation of the muffler on a motorcycle - not more than 45 minutes.
